Portable 1080p DLP projector with built-in apps

The ViewSonic TP2 is a compact DLP projector that delivers a native 1920 x 1080 resolution and supports 4K input. It runs Android 14 with 8000 plus pre-installed apps so you can stream directly without extra hardware. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless connectivity for phones, tablets and speakers.

Low heat and quiet operation for small rooms

The LED light source is rated for 30000 hours and runs cooler than traditional lamps, keeping fan noise low during movies or presentations. Power draw stays modest thanks to the efficient DLP engine and the 1GB RAM plus 8GB storage platform. The 60.0 hertz refresh rate provides stable playback without visible flicker.

Replaces a TV or older projector in tight spaces

The ultra-short throw ratio of .82:1 projects a large image from a very short distance, ideal for bedrooms, offices or RVs where a big screen would not fit. The 270 degree rotatable body lets you aim at walls or ceilings without moving the unit. Buyers who need multiple HDMI ports, a built-in DVD player or longer throw distances should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the ultra-short throw 0.82:1 ratio and 270° rotation correctly?

Place the projector at the calculated distance for the desired screen size, then rotate the body up to 270° to align the image; use the auto keystone feature to correct any trapezoid distortion before final mounting.

When will the lamp need replacement and what is the rated life?

The lamp is rated for 30000 hours of use; after this period brightness will decline and a replacement lamp should be installed to maintain image quality.

What limits continuous operation before the image degrades?

The lamp life of 30000 hours is the primary limit; extended sessions beyond this rating will reduce brightness and contrast, so plan for lamp replacement at that interval.
