24-inch IPS monitor for home and office

The ViewSonic VA2456-MHD is a 24-inch IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Its 3-sided frameless design suits multi-monitor arrangements for productivity tasks. The panel delivers 16.7 million colors and 178-degree viewing angles. It connects to laptops, desktops and POS systems via HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA inputs.

60Hz refresh rate and 7ms response define motion

The 60Hz refresh rate and 7ms gray-to-gray response time with overdrive set the practical ceiling for motion clarity. Fast-paced gaming or high-frame-rate video will show blur beyond this threshold. The 250 cd/m² brightness and 1,000:1 static contrast ratio are adequate for standard indoor lighting. Dynamic contrast is rated at 50,000,000:1 but does not replace native panel performance.

Upgrade from smaller or TN panels for wider viewing

This monitor replaces older 16:9 screens smaller than 24 inches or TN panels with narrow viewing angles. The jump is worth it when you need consistent color at 178 degrees horizontally and vertically. It also adds DisplayPort alongside legacy VGA for mixed-era device setups. Buyers who need higher refresh rates, greater resolution or HDR support should look elsewhere.
