24″ 120 Hz IPS gaming monitor

The ViewSonic VX2470-MHD is a 24-inch Full HD display built on a flat IPS panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms MPRT response time. It covers 99 % of the sRGB colour space and offers 178° viewing angles horizontally and vertically. Connectivity includes VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort inputs for PC or console use.

Who this suits and who it does not

Competitive players who need a 1080p screen at 120 Hz with FreeSync variable refresh rate will benefit from the fast panel and low input lag. Buyers who want a higher refresh rate, a curved screen, or a resolution above 1080p should look at other models. The anti-glare coating and flicker-free backlight also help users who spend long hours at the desk.

The spec that decides fit

The single figure that determines whether this monitor fits your build is the 120 Hz maximum refresh rate at 1920 × 1080 resolution. If your graphics card and games target that exact combination, the panel will deliver the motion clarity it is designed for.
