Viking 3305J-XL rain jacket

The Viking 3305J-XL is a men's rain jacket in green size XL made from 420 denier soft flex nylon. It measures 33 inches in length and features a detachable hood with nylon mesh lining. The front closure uses hook-and-loop fasteners and there are two outside pockets.

Outdoor workers needing wind resistance

This jacket suits outdoor workers who need a wind resistant layer with a removable hood for changing conditions. It is not high visibility and carries no ANSI rating so workers on roadways or low light sites should look at something else. Buyers who want inside pockets or a lined thermal layer will not find them here.

Simple pull on with hook and loop

Installation is straightforward as the jacket is pulled on and secured with the hook and loop front closure. The detachable hood attaches and removes easily for cleaning or when not needed. The nylon material may feel stiff at first and the hook and loop can snag the mesh lining if fastened carelessly.

Questions about this item

What size range does the XL 33 in length jacket cover?

The jacket is cut to an XL fit with a 33 in back length, so it suits wearers who normally take an extra-large in outerwear.

Can the detachable hood be removed when I wear a hard hat underneath?

Yes, the hood fastens on and off, allowing you to take it off and wear the jacket over a hard hat or other head protection.

How do I know the hook-and-loop front is holding securely in wind?

When the hook-and-loop tabs are fully engaged across the chest, the 420 denier soft flex nylon blocks wind and the closure stays fastened during movement.
