Touch Tone Controller

The Viking Electronics VK-RC-2A is a remote touch tone controller designed for access control and remote switching applications. It uses DTMF signalling to operate a relay via a telephone line or compatible audio path. Installers and facility managers can configure a programmable access code for secure entry or equipment activation.

Modular jacks and screw terminals

The unit fits into a build using standard modular jacks and screw terminals for straightforward wiring. It requires an external power adapter and can share one adapter across multiple controllers. Selectable ring delay options of 1, 2, 6, or 15 rings let the system match the call flow before answering.

Selectable relay closure times

Under sustained use the relay offers normally open or normally closed contacts with selectable closure times to suit the load. An automatic disconnect or return to secure mode activates after 60 seconds of inactivity, preventing the relay from staying energised indefinitely. This protects connected equipment and resets the controller for the next command.
