Ten-Foot Cable and Safety Features

The extra-long cable reaches distant outlets without strain, making it practical for bedside tables, sofas or desks where the socket is far from the user. A multi-protection safety system guards against over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and overheating while the charger automatically matches the current required by the connected device. The USB-C to USB-C connector means the cable cannot be used with Lightning-equipped iPhones such as the 14, 13, 12, 11 or XR series.

Charging Speed and Data Limits

The 30W output charges a compatible iPhone 17 Pro Max to roughly 65 percent in thirty minutes, which is about ten percent faster than a standard 20W charger. Data transfer over the included cable is limited to 480 Mbps, so large file moves between phone and computer will be slower than with higher-speed cables. The charger does not support legacy Lightning devices, so buyers needing to charge older iPhones must look elsewhere.
