Retro 08X RGB LED Panel

The VILTROX Retro 08X is a compact on-camera light with a built-in 6000mAh battery. It delivers adjustable output from 2500K to 8500K and full RGB colour mixing via 72 bi-colour and 36 RGB LEDs. Bluetooth control through the WeeylitePro app suits solo creators and run-and-gun video work.

Upgrade from basic on-camera lights

Fixed-colour panels limit creative control and often lack wireless adjustment. This unit adds 360° hue selection, 26 scene effects and magenta/green correction for mixed-light environments. The jump is worth it when you need colour accuracy rated at CRI/TLCI 97+ and remote operation without extra hardware.

Capacity and headroom

At 50% brightness the battery lasts 8 hours; at full power it runs for 4 hours. Maximum illuminance reaches 650 lux at 0.5 metres. USB-C input allows continuous power from a wall adapter or power bank. The cold shoe mount and 1/4"-20 threads fit most mirrorless and DSLR bodies. Not suited for users needing higher output for large spaces or multi-light setups.
