Ultra-slim 62 mm UV filter protects the front element and cuts haze

  • Multi-coated glass cuts UV haze for clearer shots
  • 62 mm thread fits matching lens diameters directly
  • Protective layer shields front element from dust and scratches

62 mm UV protection filter

The Viltrox Ultra Slim MC UV filter screws onto any lens with a 62 mm front thread. Its multi-coated glass blocks ultraviolet haze while shielding the front element from dust, moisture and accidental scratches. The slim frame avoids vignetting on wide-angle lenses.

Installation and common issues

Thread the filter on by hand until snug; no tools are required. Cross-threading is the usual problem, so align the threads carefully before turning. Over-tightening can make removal difficult, especially in cold weather. The slim profile leaves little grip, so a rubber filter wrench helps if the filter sticks.
