Network Door Access Control System

The Virdi Bl-DA AC1000RF is a network door access control system designed for organisations that require RFID or smart card authentication. It suits offices, campuses and facilities needing centralised entry management with real-time monitoring capabilities.

Dual-Frequency RFID and Smart Card Support

Authentication operates at 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz, covering common proximity cards and contactless smart cards. The system handles password plus card combinations for higher assurance, but sites requiring biometric verification or mobile credentials will need a different platform.

Multi-Interface Integration and Alarm Features

TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-485 and Wiegand interfaces connect the unit to access control, alarm controller and DVR infrastructure. Electric locks including EM, deadbolt, strike and motor types are driven directly, and a tamper warning signals forced case opening.

Questions about this item

Will the Virdi Bl-DA AC1000RF connect to my existing RS-232 or RS-485 access control panels?

The unit provides RS-232 and RS-485 ports alongside TCP/IP and Wiegand, so it can link directly to legacy panels using those serial interfaces.

How do I verify the system is authenticating cards correctly once installed?

Real-time monitoring shows each access event as it happens, letting you confirm RFID or smart card reads at 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz immediately.

Does the package include electric locks or must they be purchased separately?

The controller supports EM, deadbolt, strike and motor locks, but the locks themselves are not included and must be sourced separately.
