Dual-Purpose Dog Crate & End Table

This white kennel doubles as a furniture piece with a 150 lb tabletop and two storage drawers beneath. It suits owners who want a pet enclosure that blends into a living room or bedroom while keeping essentials within reach. The unit is built from particleboard and .5 inch iron pipe for a chew-resistant frame.

Interior Space for Large and Medium Dogs

Inside dimensions of 41.7L x 21.7W x 22.1H give an adult dog room to stand, turn and lie down without crowding. The steel-ringed bars keep the structure rigid during daily use and resist bending from persistent chewing. Ventilation comes through the open-bar design on all sides.

Check Door Swing and Floor Clearance

Verify the 44.5L x 23.6W footprint fits your intended spot with enough clearance for the door to open fully. Confirm the 34.5H overall height clears any low windowsills, wall-mounted shelves or overhead lighting. Ensure the floor can support the combined weight of crate, pet and tabletop items.

Questions about this item

Does the 150 lb tabletop limit change if the crate sits in direct sunlight all day?

The 150 lb capacity is a structural rating for the particleboard top; heat from sunlight does not alter that figure, though prolonged exposure may affect the white finish over time.

What tools and hardware must I have ready before assembling the 44.5 inch kennel?

The unit ships with all bolts, washers and the 0.5 inch iron pipes needed; only a basic screwdriver or Allen key is required to tighten the supplied fasteners.

Will my existing 22 inch high orthopaedic dog bed fit through the door and lie flat on the 41.7 inch floor?

The inner height is 22.1 inches, so a 22 inch bed clears the door opening and rests on the full 41.7 x 21.7 inch floor area.
