Vitesse 72 inch Electric Fireplace

This new Vitesse fireplace is a 72 inch linear unit designed for recessed or wall-mounted installation. It suits homeowners who want adjustable flame visuals and supplemental heat without losing floor space.

3.2 inch profile with ETL certification

At only 3.2 inches thick the unit sits flush in a wall cavity or hangs flat on the surface, and the ETL certificate confirms it meets recognised safety standards. Auto-heat kill protection shuts the heater down if temperatures rise too high.

Check wall opening and power supply before ordering

Recessed fitting requires a stud cavity wide and deep enough for the 72 inch chassis, while wall mounting needs secure anchors rated for the appliance weight. A dedicated circuit capable of 1500 W operation is also necessary.

Questions about this item

What voltage standard does the 72 inch fireplace use, and what wattage does it draw?

The unit runs on household voltage and offers two heating modes of 750 and 1500 watts, plus a flame-only mode with no heat.

What wall opening and depth are needed to recess the 3.2 inch thick unit?

A rough opening matching the 72 inch width and a cavity at least 3.2 inches deep are required for full recess installation.

How is the fireplace secured for wall mounting, and what step is often missed?

Mount the included bracket to wall studs, hang the unit on the bracket, then lock it with the set screws — skipping the lock screws is the common mistake.
