Digital Bath Scale with Step-On

The Vivitar PS-V130-B is a digital bathroom scale designed for personal weight tracking at home. It supports users up to 330 lbs and activates automatically when stepped on. The scale suits anyone who wants quick, accurate readings without manual tapping. Its black tempered-glass platform fits standard bathroom floors.

Setup and Power Needs

The scale operates on a single CR2032 lithium battery that is included in the box. No wiring, pairing or external power supply is required. The Step-On technology removes the need to wake the device before each use. Programmable units let the display show pounds or kilograms as preferred.

Capacity and Limits

Weight capacity reaches 330 lbs, covering most adult users. Readings appear on a 2.5" x 1" LCD panel that remains clear in typical bathroom lighting. The tempered-glass surface resists impacts but can crack under sharp point loads. Buyers needing higher capacity or multi-user memory should consider other models.

Questions about this item

What weight limit will stop the scale from reading accurately?

The scale measures up to 330 lbs; anything heavier will exceed its capacity and may give an error or no reading at all.

Does the tempered-glass platform get hot or make noise if I leave it on all day?

The scale only powers on when you step on it, shows your weight on the 2.5" x 1" LCD, then shuts off automatically, so it produces no heat and no noise during continuous availability.

What battery do I need to have on hand before the first weigh-in?

A CR2032 lithium cell is included, so the scale works immediately; keep a spare CR2032 for when the original runs down.
