Vivitek D519 3000 lumen DLP projector

The Vivitek D519 is a DLP business projector delivering 3000 to 3500 lumens with a native 1024 x 768 resolution. It supports 1080i HD video input and 3D content via DLP Link. The unit weighs 4.2 lbs and includes an HDMI 1.3 connection for current media applications.

Lamp life and contrast ratio

A high-efficiency lamp provides up to 6000 hours of operation, reducing long-term running costs. The projector achieves a 15000:1 contrast ratio for deep blacks and vibrant pictures. Brightness output reaches 3000 ANSI lumens for clear images in lit rooms.

Portable build with HDMI and remote

At 4.2 lbs the D519 is portable enough for meeting-room changes or temporary setups. HDMI 1.3 handles digital video and 3D signals while the supplied remote simplifies day-to-day control. The DLP chip avoids filter maintenance common with LCD models.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the D519 to a laptop using the HDMI 1.3 port and enable 3D via DLP Link?

Connect an HDMI cable to the HDMI 1.3 input, select the HDMI source on the projector, then activate 3D mode in the on-screen menu; the DLP Link signal syncs automatically with compatible active-shutter glasses.

When will the lamp need replacement and what is the rated life?

The high-efficiency lamp is rated for up to 6000 hours; plan replacement when brightness drops noticeably or the lamp-warning indicator appears.

What brightness drop should I expect first during long presentations at 3000 lumens?

The lamp’s gradual lumen depreciation is the first limit; after extended use the 3000 ANSI lumen output will decline before the 15000:1 contrast or 1024x768 resolution are affected.
