Classroom-ready 3200 lumen DLP projector

The Vivitek D853W is a lightweight DLP projector built for classrooms and conference rooms. It delivers 3200 lumens brightness and a native 1280 x 800 resolution for clear presentations. Weighing 6.0 lbs, it is designed for easy transport between meeting spaces. The unit supports HD video modes including 1080i and 720p.

Extensive connectivity with network control

Connections include HDMI, VGA, DVI, composite RCA, USB Mini Type-A, RJ-45 LAN and RS232 DB-9 serial. A 12-volt trigger automates screen or blind operation. The projector supports ceiling, rear and table-top mounting with projection tilt and colour correction for quick alignment. Built-in speakers provide basic audio without external hardware.

Replaces older portable projectors

This model upgrades from dimmer portable units that struggle in lit rooms. The 3200 lumen output and 3200:1 contrast ratio make the jump worthwhile when presentations must stay visible without dimming lights. Eco mode extends lamp life to 6000 hours, reducing maintenance cycles for frequent users. Buyers needing higher native resolution or wireless casting should look elsewhere.
