Ready for classrooms and meeting rooms

The Vivitek D853W is a DLP projector built for classrooms and conference rooms. Its native 1280 x 800 resolution and 3200 lumens brightness deliver clear images for presentations and media. The unit weighs 6 lbs and measures 12 inches wide by 8.5 inches deep by 4.3 inches high for easy transport.

HDMI input and wide throw range

A single HDMI connection handles 1080i, 720p and 576i sources without adapters. The lens throws a 40.2 to 299.8 inch image from 5.0 to 32.2 feet, letting you place the projector on a table or ceiling mount in most rooms. Compact dimensions keep the footprint small on crowded desks.

220 watt lamp with eco mode

The 220 watt light source runs for 4000 hours in normal mode and 6000 hours in eco mode, reducing lamp changes over time. Eco mode lowers power draw and fan noise during long meetings. Brightness stays consistent across the 3000 to 3500 lumens range for reliable output.

How do I set up the Vivitek D853W for the first time and which step is most often missed?
