Vivitek D865W Replacement Lamp
This 240 W DLP replacement lamp module is built for the Vivitek D865W projector. It ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing so installation is straightforward. The part suits owners who need a direct replacement for a dim or failed original lamp. It is not intended for other projector models or for users seeking a bare bulb without housing.
240 W Osram PVIP lamp specification
The lamp uses an original Osram PVIP bulb rated at 240 W and matches the Vivitek part number 5811118543-SVV. This wattage and bulb type are the decisive factors for compatibility with the D865W. Buyers whose projector requires a different wattage or bulb technology cannot use this module.
Thermal and power profile
In normal operation the lamp draws 240 W and the projector’s cooling system manages the resulting heat. The housing is designed to maintain proper airflow and ignition stability throughout the rated lifespan. No separate fan or ballast specifications are provided beyond the standard projector integration.

Questions about this item
How bright will the 240W lamp be once installed in my Vivitek D865W projector?
The 240W Osram PVIP lamp restores the projector's original brightness specification; actual image luminance depends on the projector's optical engine, lamp mode selected and hours already accumulated on the previous lamp.
What connector standard does the D865W-LAMP module use to interface with the projector?
The module plugs directly into the Vivitek D865W's proprietary lamp socket; no additional cables or adapters are required for electrical connection.
Will the 0.999 kg housing fit the D865W's lamp compartment without modification?
Yes, the fully assembled bulb-and-housing unit matches the OEM form factor for the Vivitek D865W, so it slides into the existing lamp cage and secures with the original screws.
