Replacement lamp for Vivitek projectors

The Vivitek DH833 lamp module combines a 310W bulb with its housing in a single unit ready for installation. It is intended for owners of compatible Vivitek projectors who need a direct replacement when the original lamp reaches end of life.

Rated output and usable life

The lamp operates at 310W and is rated for 2500 hours of service before brightness drops to half its initial level. It covers typical classroom or meeting-room schedules but will require replacement sooner in environments that run the projector continuously for many hours each day.

Thermal and power behaviour

At 310W the lamp draws a steady high current that the projector’s cooling system is designed to dissipate, so fan noise remains at the level specified for the host unit. No additional power infrastructure is needed beyond the projector’s own supply.

Questions about this item

Will the 310 W DH833 lamp run in my Vivitek projector that currently uses a lower-wattage module?

This lamp is rated at 310 W and built to the DH833 specification; it is designed as a direct replacement for the original DH833 module, so it matches the projector's power and thermal design.

How can I verify the DH833 lamp is performing correctly after installation?

The lamp should ignite reliably, deliver a stable image with no flicker, and the projector's lamp-hour counter will begin tracking toward the 2 500-hour rated life.

Does the DH833 package include only the bare bulb or a complete housing assembly?

It ships as a fully assembled module with the 310 W bulb already mounted in the housing, ready for tool-free installation.
