Vivitek DX-6831 Replacement Lamp

The Vivitek DX-6831 projector lamp module is a new 350W NSH replacement unit supplied with a Ushio bulb pre-installed in its housing. It is designed for owners of compatible Vivitek projectors who need a direct, ready-to-fit replacement when the original lamp reaches end of life.

350W NSH Lamp Practical Limits

The NSH lamp operates at 350W and is rated for approximately 2000 hours of use before brightness drops below specification. Actual runtime varies with projector power modes, ambient temperature and duty cycle; frequent short cycles can reduce achieved life. The lamp generates significant heat and requires the projector's cooling system to function correctly throughout operation.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Confirm your projector model matches the Vivitek DX-6831 designation and verify the manufacturer part number 3797802500-SVK against your service manual. Ensure the projector housing and connector layout accept this module format. Inspect the projector's air filters and ventilation paths for blockages before installing the new lamp to avoid premature failure.

Questions about this item

Which DX-6831 lamp version should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

Three OEM versions are offered: the original bulb maker's lamp, the Vivitek-sold OEM lamp, and an alternative OEM bulb maker's lamp. A lower-cost compatible version using genuine OEM parts is also available. All meet ISO 9001 quality checks.

What does the 350 W rating mean for brightness and heat in my projector?

The 350 W NSH bulb delivers the same light output and thermal load as the original module, so brightness and cooling requirements match the factory specification.

How does the NSH lamp type affect replacement intervals and compatibility?

The NSH 350 W lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of use and fits the DX-6831 housing exactly, making it a direct swap with no adapter or firmware change needed.
