Mobile workstation casters

These 1.5 inch M8 locking caster wheels convert stationary office furniture into mobile workstations or TV carts. The set of four supports up to 180 lbs total with 45 lbs per caster. They suit home and office environments where occasional repositioning is needed. Installation uses the supplied nuts on existing M8 threaded mounts.

M8 threaded mount fit

Each caster uses an M8 metric bolt with a 1.25 mm thread pitch and a 15 mm stem length. The wheels fit VIVO desk frames and the STAND-TV03E TV cart listed in the compatibility data. Nuts are included so no extra hardware is required. They do not suit furniture with different thread sizes or stem lengths.

Locking swivel behaviour

Wheels swivel for tight-corner manoeuvres and lock to hold position during sustained use. The mechanism keeps a loaded desk or cart stationary on all floor types without rolling drift. Quiet rolling motion is maintained over repeated movement cycles. They are not designed for continuous transport over long distances.

Questions about this item

How much weight can the 1.5 inch wheels carry before the 45 lbs per caster limit is reached?

The set supports 180 lbs total, which equals 45 lbs per caster, so the limit is reached at that combined load.

Do the M8 locking casters run silently and stay cool during all-day rolling on hard floors?

The wheels provide smooth, quiet rolling motion and the locking brakes hold the unit stationary without generating noticeable heat.

Which M8 threaded mounts must my desk frame already have for these 15 mm stem casters to fit?

Your frame needs M8 x 1.25 mm threaded holes with at least 15 mm stem depth; compatible VIVO frames include DESK-EV00B, DESK-EV47TB, DESK-GM1ZB, DESK-V100EB, DESK-V122EB and STAND-TV03E.
