Instant Active Standing

The VIVO 42 inch standing desk riser converts any fixed-height desk into a sit-stand workstation. A patented pneumatic spring lifts the desktop straight up from 4.5 to 20 inches in one smooth motion. The 42 by 15.7 inch top surface holds up to 33 lbs for dual monitors or a laptop combo.

Suits Single-Desk Converters

This riser fits users who want to keep their existing desk and add height adjustment without replacement. The removable keyboard tray measures 42 by 11.8 inches with a 10.2 inch center cutout and supports 4.4 lbs. Buyers needing motorised presets, a larger footprint, or integrated cable management should look at a full standing desk instead.

Dual-Tier Capacity and Limits

The steel frame and particle-board desktop handle two typical monitors plus accessories within the 33 lb limit. The keyboard tray accommodates a standard keyboard and mouse at 4.4 lbs. The 30 by 16 inch base requires a clear area of that size on the host desk. Loads beyond the stated capacities will exceed the lift assist design.

Questions about this item

What size desk or tabletop do I need to place the 30 x 16 base on?

The base footprint is 30 by 16 inches, so your existing surface must be at least that deep and wide to keep the riser stable.

Can my current monitor arm clamp onto the 3/4 inch thick desktop?

The desktop is 3/4 inch thick, so any clamp mount rated for at least that thickness will attach securely.

How do I verify the pneumatic spring lifts the full 4.5 to 20 inch range smoothly?

Squeeze the handle and raise the top surface; it should move upward in one straight motion and lock at any height between 4.5 and 20 inches without drifting.
