Electric Standing Desk for Active Workspaces

The VIVO electric sit-stand desk provides a 71 by 36 inch work surface that moves from sitting to standing height at the push of a button. It suits home-office workers who want to alternate posture during long days at a computer. The single-motor frame lifts the particle-board top smoothly across a 29.2 to 48.4 inch range and holds up to 220 lbs of monitors and accessories.

Assembly Steps and Common Issues

All hardware and instructions are included for self-assembly of the steel frame and three-piece desktop. The most frequent problem is misaligning the tabletop sections during mounting, which can leave a visible seam or uneven surface. Taking time to level the frame feet on the floor before tightening the top bolts prevents wobble and ensures the motor tracks correctly.

Weight Capacity Determines Suitability

The frame is rated for 220 lbs total load, including the desktop itself, monitors, arms and any other gear. Buyers planning heavy multi-monitor arrays or desktop PCs on the surface should verify their combined equipment weight stays under this limit. Exceeding it risks motor strain and reduced stability at standing height.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the desk moves smoothly through the full 29.2 to 48.4 inch range after assembly?

Use the push-button controller to run the desk from the lowest to the highest position; the single motor should move at 25 mm/s without binding or unusual noise.

What components are included and what must I supply separately?

The box contains the 70.9 x 35.5 inch particle-board top, the gray steel electric frame with telescopic legs, the memory handset, and all mounting hardware; you only need to provide your own monitors, keyboard, and accessories.

Which version should I choose if I need a 71 x 36 inch surface that holds up to 220 lbs?

This DESK-KIT-1G7B-36 model is the only version listed with the 70.9 x 35.5 inch top, single-motor electric frame, and 220 lb capacity, so it matches those exact requirements.
