Active Standing Workstation

This electric desk converts from sitting to standing height in one smooth motion for office workers who want to alternate posture throughout the day. The frame adjusts from 29.2 to 48.4 inches using a single motor with push-button memory presets. A 59 by 29.5 inch particle-board top provides room for dual monitors and accessories. The steel frame supports 220 lbs.

Sustained Daily Operation

The motor moves at 25 mm per second and draws only 1 W on standby, so repeated height changes during a long workday do not create heat or noise concerns. All-steel legs and telescopic adjustment keep the 220 lb capacity stable at any height between 29.2 and 48.4 inches. The scratch-resistant particle-board surface withstands daily equipment placement without degradation.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify that your floor area can accommodate the 59 by 29.5 inch top plus the 23.5 by 2.7 inch foot footprint at the lowest 29.2 inch height and highest 48.4 inch position. Ensure a nearby mains outlet for the single-motor controller. Confirm that the combined weight of monitors, mounts and accessories stays within the 220 lb limit. Assembly requires the included hardware and instructions.

Questions about this item

How loud is the motor when the desk runs all day?

The motor operates at 25 mm/s with a standby draw of 1 W/h; VIVO does not publish a decibel figure for the single-motor frame.

What must I already own to use the memory presets on the controller?

The push-button controller with memory presets is built into the frame; only a standard mains socket is required to power it.

Will my existing 23.5-inch deep monitor arms clamp onto the 59 x 29.5 particle-board top?

The top is 29.5 inches deep and 1 inch thick, so standard C-clamps designed for desks up to 1 inch thick will fit securely.
