Active Workstation for Daily Use

The VIVO electric standing desk provides a 71 by 30 inch light wood surface on a black steel frame. A single motor raises the top from 28.6 to 46.7 inches using a two button controller. The particle board top and steel legs support up to 154 pounds of equipment.

Two Button Height Control

The bundled controller offers simple up and down operation at 19.5 millimetres per second. No memory presets or digital display are included, so each height change requires holding a button until the desired level is reached. All assembly hardware and instructions are supplied in the box.

Single Motor Frame Limits

One motor drives both telescopic legs, giving a combined lift capacity of 154 pounds across the 70.9 by 29.5 inch top. The feet measure 23.6 by 2.7 inches, so the desk needs a clear floor area at least that wide. Heavier multi monitor arrays or desktop towers may exceed the rated load.

Questions about this item

Will the particle-board top need refinishing or replacement over time?

The 1-inch thick particle-board surface is scratch-resistant; normal office use does not require refinishing.

What stops the desk from moving higher under a heavy dual-monitor load?

The steel frame is rated for 154 lbs; the motor halts at the 46.7-inch limit or if resistance exceeds that capacity.

How loud and warm does the single motor get during all-day height changes?

The motor runs at 19.5 mm/s with low standby draw; noise and heat stay minimal during typical adjustments.
