Instant standing workstation

The VIVO Light Wood 36 inch desk riser converts any fixed-height desk into a sit-stand station. Its single pneumatic spring lifts the top surface straight up from 4.5 to 20 inches with a squeeze handle. The 36 by 15.7 inch desktop holds two monitors or a monitor and laptop up to 33 lbs total.

Manual lift mechanics and stability

The steel frame resists scratches and supports the desktop without wobble during height changes. Lift assist is rated for 33 lbs, so the mechanism moves smoothly when loaded within that limit. The keyboard tray rises in sync and carries up to 4.4 lbs. Base footprint is 30 by 16 inches.

Removable tray and included tools

A hex tool is supplied to detach the 36 by 11.8 inch keyboard tray when a single-level surface is preferred. The tray centre section measures 10.2 inches wide. All mounting hardware and instructions come in the box for assembly without extra purchases.

Questions about this item

How do I assemble the VIVO 36" desk riser and which step causes the most trouble?

Attach the keyboard tray to the steel frame using the supplied hex tool, then secure the desktop; the step people get wrong is tightening the tray bolts before the gas spring is fully seated, which misaligns the 4.5 to 20 height range

What part will need maintenance or replacement after extended use?

The single pneumatic spring that provides the lift assist can lose pressure over time, causing the 33 lb desktop capacity to sag below the 4.5 minimum height

What limit appears first when the riser is loaded near its maximum and cycled repeatedly?

The 33 lb desktop weight capacity is reached before the 4.4 lb keyboard tray limit, so heavy dual-monitor setups hit the frame's structural ceiling first
