Vintage Brown 36" Desk Riser

This height-adjustable riser sits on an existing desk and lifts a monitor or dual-screen setup from sitting to standing height. A single pneumatic spring provides smooth, straight-up motion without the need for electricity. The vintage brown melamine surface and black steel frame suit home or office workstations.

Who benefits and who does not

Workers who alternate between sitting and standing will appreciate the 4.5 to 20 inch adjustment range and the keyboard tray that rises in sync with the desktop. Buyers who need more than 33 pounds of desktop capacity or a wider surface than 36 by 15.7 inches should look at a full standing desk instead.

33-pound desktop limit

The top platform supports up to 33 lbs while the keyboard tray holds 4.4 lbs, so the total load must stay within those figures. The lift mechanism is rated for the same 33-pound maximum, making weight the single specification that decides if this riser matches the intended hardware.

Questions about this item

How much desktop depth does the 36-inch surface give me for monitors?

The top surface measures 36 by 15.7 inches, so dual monitors and a laptop fit side by side with room to spare.

What tool do I need to remove the keyboard tray during assembly?

A hex tool is included in the box; use it to unbolt the tray if you prefer a single-tier setup.

How often should I check the pneumatic spring and bolts after I start using the riser?

Inspect the spring action and re-tighten all bolts every few months to keep the 4.5-to-20-inch lift smooth and the 33-pound capacity secure.
