Capture Card with HDMI Loop-Out

The VIXLW capture card accepts a 4K HDMI signal and passes it through an HDMI loop-out while sending 1080p video over USB 2.0 to the host computer. Integrated audio input and output ports handle both game sound and live commentary. Plug-and-play operation means no driver installation is required on Windows, macOS or Linux.

Streamers and Conference Users

Creators who need a simple way to bring console gameplay or camera footage into OBS, Twitch or video calls will find the card fits straight into existing workflows. The single USB 2.0 link caps the recorded stream at 30 frames per second, so competitive players who require 60 fps capture should look at a USB 3.0 or internal alternative.

USB 2.0 Limits Capture to 1080p30

The USB 2.0 interface is the specification that decides whether this card suits a project. It delivers 1080p at 30 fps to recording software while the loop-out continues feeding the display at the source resolution. If the workflow demands 1080p60 or 4K capture, a faster host connection is necessary.
