Six-foot grounded extension cord

This 14AWG three-wire cord carries a 15-amp, 125-volt rating for up to 1875 watts. The low-profile flat plug lets furniture sit flush against the wall. ETL certification confirms the safety testing. A durable PVC jacket protects the pure copper conductors.

Home and office users needing reach behind furniture

It suits appliances and electronics that accept a standard three-prong or two-prong plug. The flat head clears tight gaps behind sofas, bookcases and entertainment units. Builders who need outdoor-rated cable or a higher ampacity should look at a different specification.

14AWG copper conductors rated for 15 amps

The wire gauge and ampere rating set the safe load limit for connected devices. Exceeding 1875 watts risks overheating regardless of the outlet. Match the cord to equipment that stays within this threshold.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the low-profile flat plug need behind furniture?

The flat plug is designed so sofas, TVs, bookshelves or cabinets can sit flush against the wall, needing only the plug's own thickness.

What is the correct way to connect the NEMA 5-15P plug and NEMA 5-15R connector, and what mistake should I avoid?

Insert the flat plug fully into the wall outlet and push the appliance plug firmly into the female connector; do not exceed the 1875W total load.

When should I replace this 14AWG extension cord?

Replace it if the PVC jacket is damaged, the grounding pin is bent or loose, or the cord no longer powers devices reliably.
