Extra-Length USB-A to USB-C Cable

This 15-foot USB-A to USB-C cable comes in a two-pack and delivers up to 2.4 A output for 15 W charging. It also supports data transfer at 480 Mbps. The male-to-male design connects standard USB-A ports to USB-C devices without adapters.

Suits devices needing distant power.

The length and 2.4 A rating make it practical for security cameras, tablets, game controllers and phones such as iPhone 15/16/17 or Galaxy S20-S24 when the wall socket is far away. It is not intended for hosts that require Thunderbolt or 10 Gbps-class throughput, nor for single-port setups where only one cable is needed.

Handles everyday charging

The 15 ft reach comfortably powers a camera mounted under eaves or a tablet across a living room while syncing photos at USB 2.0 speeds. Headroom ends at 480 Mbps, so large video libraries transfer slowly, and the fixed 2.4 A limit means laptops or high-draw tablets will charge at standard rather than rapid rates.

Questions about this item

What USB-A power source do I need to deliver the 2.4 A rating?

Any standard USB-A port or charger rated for at least 2.4 A will provide the full 15 W charging speed.

Will the 480 Mbps data rate work with my USB 2.0 laptop ports?

Yes, the cable operates at USB 2.0 speeds, so it syncs at 480 Mbps on older USB 2.0 ports.

How can I confirm the cable is charging at the full 15 W after I plug it in?

Check the device’s battery settings; it should show a charging current near 2.4 A when the source supports it.
