What this adapter is

This 100W USB-C AC adapter ships with a 2-metre Type-C to Type-C cable and supports universal 100-240V input. It is built for owners of USB-C laptops, tablets and phones who need a single high-power supply for home or travel.

The deciding specification

The charger delivers up to 100W through five fixed PDOs: 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 18V/3A and 20V/5A. A device that cannot negotiate one of these exact voltage and current pairs will not reach the advertised speed.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

It suits users who want one compact brick for MacBook Pro 13, 14, 15, 16-inch, MacBook Air 13-inch, iPad Pro 11 and 12.9-inch and other USB-C gear. Buyers whose laptop requires more than 100W or a proprietary barrel connector should look elsewhere.
