Vszerda 0.5 m Mini SAS SFF-8087 to 4x SATA 90° breakout cable
Connects a RAID controller with an SFF-8087 port to four SATA drives using a 1.64-foot breakout cable with 90-degree angled connectors and 6Gbps per-port bandwidth
- Connects one controller to four SATA drives via single SFF-8087 port
- 90° angled SATA plugs ease routing in tight drive bays
- 6 Gbps per port supports full SATA III throughput
- 64 ft length fits compact chassis without excess slack
- 30 AWG tinned-copper drain wire reduces signal interference
Internal SAS-to-SATA breakout
This 0.5 metre cable links a RAID or PCIe controller equipped with an SFF-8087 port to four SATA drives. It is built for server or workstation builders who need to expand direct-attached storage inside a chassis. The forward breakout design carries 6 Gbps per port across the assembly.
90-degree SATA plugs and mesh sleeve
Each SATA connector angles 90 degrees so cables sit flat against drive backplanes in tight bays. A woven mesh jacket covers half the length to protect wires during routing and improve airflow. P1-to-P4 markers on the leads let installers identify each lane after the build is closed up.
Latch-locking connectors and drain wire
Both the SFF-8087 male plug and the four SATA female ports use latch locking to resist vibration in rack environments. A tinned-copper drain wire at 30 AWG runs the length of the cable to help control signal integrity. The blue jacket with black sleeving makes the loom easy to trace among other looms.

Questions about this item
Does the 30 AWG drain wire need periodic replacement?
The 30 AWG tinned copper drain wire is a permanent part of the cable assembly and does not require scheduled replacement.
Will the 6 Gbps per port limit appear before the PCIe 2.0 x8 lanes saturate?
Each of the four SATA ports is capped at 6 Gbps, so that per-port ceiling is reached before the two PCIe 2.0 x8 lanes become a bottleneck.
Does the blue cable with black sleeving add noticeable heat during all-day operation?
The passive cable carries only signalling current, so it generates negligible heat even with continuous 6 Gbps traffic.
