A 1.8 m cable connects a DisplayPort computer to an HDMI display at up to 1080p resolution and supports both audio and video
The Vszerda 1.8 m cable carries video and audio from a DisplayPort source to an HDMI display. It supports mirroring and extended desktop modes at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 on a monitor or 1080p on an HDTV. No drivers or software are required; the connection works immediately after plugging in. The adapter is unidirectional and only converts from DisplayPort to HDMI.
The cable complies with DisplayPort 1.1 at both 1.62 and 2.7 Gbps and with HDMI 1.3a up to 2.25 Gbps. These specifications ensure the link remains stable during long sessions such as presentations, streaming or extended desktop work. Supported HDTV timings include 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 1080i and 1080p alongside common PC resolutions.
Replacing a short cable or a separate dongle with this single 1.8 m run removes an extra connection point and reduces cable clutter. The jump is worth it when the source and display are farther apart than a typical 1 m lead allows, or when a tidy plug-and-play installation is preferred over chaining adapters. Buyers who need bi-directional conversion or resolutions above 1080p should look elsewhere.
