Input must exceed load

The source supply must provide more watts than the connected device draws; a 100W brick can only run hardware rated below 100W such as 90W, 65W or 45W notebooks. The adapter passes power only and does not carry video or data signals. Cable length is 1 centimetres, so the power source sits very close to the device.

100W ceiling

Maximum output is capped at 100W, so any system requiring more power will not operate through this connector. Buyers needing to charge devices above that threshold cannot use this adapter. The DC 4506 female socket mates only with matching 4.5mm x 0.6mm tips.
