Tool-free 2.5 inch SATA enclosure

This USB 3.0 enclosure turns a 2.5 inch SATA drive into a portable external drive. The tool-free design lets you swap 7 mm or 9.5 mm drives without a screwdriver. It is suited for anyone who needs quick access to laptop drives for backup or data migration. UASP support reduces protocol overhead on compatible hosts.

USB 3.0 bandwidth and drive height limits

The USB 3.0 interface caps real-world throughput at 5 Gbps, so faster SATA SSDs will not reach their internal speeds. Only 2.5 inch drives up to 9.5 mm thick fit the chassis; taller enterprise drives cannot be used. The enclosure requires no external power for typical SSDs and hard drives.
