A 2-port DisplayPort 1.2 KVM switch sharing one 4K 60 Hz monitor, keyboard and mouse between two computers with USB 2.0 peripheral ports and push-button or cable switching
This Vszerda KVM switch lets you operate two computers or laptops from one DisplayPort monitor, keyboard and mouse. It supports DP 1.2 video input and provides three USB 2.0 hub ports for shared peripherals. A push button on the unit and a wired desk selector both change the active system. The box includes two USB cables, a power cord and the selector cable.
The switch works with Windows 7, 8, 10, Linux and Mac systems that have native DisplayPort outputs. It is not suited to users who rely on keyboard hotkeys to change sources, because hotkey switching is not supported. Buyers whose computers lack DisplayPort connectors should look at a different solution, as the device does not convert other video signals. Machines that require 144 Hz at 4K resolution are also outside the supported range.
The single specification that decides compatibility is the DisplayPort 1.2 interface, which delivers a maximum of 4K at 60 Hz, 1080p at 120 Hz, YUV 4:4:4 colour and HDR10. The switch explicitly does not support 144 Hz operation at any resolution. If your workflow needs higher refresh rates or a newer DisplayPort version, this unit will not meet the requirement.

The switch passes a DisplayPort 1.2 signal up to 4K at 60 Hz, so your monitor will show that resolution and refresh rate as long as both computers and the display cable also support it.
DP 1.2 caps the link at 4K 60 Hz or 1080p 120 Hz with 4:4:4 colour; it cannot carry 144 Hz at any resolution.
It requires a free USB port for 5 V power, two DisplayPort outputs on the computers, and space for the small switch box plus the wired desk selector.
