Lets two computers share one 4K@60Hz monitor and four USB 3.0 peripherals, switched via front button or remote desktop controller
This KVM switch lets two computers share one HDMI monitor and up to four USB 3.0 peripherals. It supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz along with lower resolutions such as 1080p at 120 Hz or 144 Hz. No driver installation is required for immediate operation across Windows, Linux and macOS systems.
The unit draws power from the connected computers and adds no active cooling, so it runs silently with negligible heat. Switching between hosts takes two to five seconds whether using the front push button or the wired desktop controller. The controller allows the main switch box and cables to be placed away from the workspace for a tidier desk.
Four USB 3.0 ports at 5 Gbps accommodate keyboards, mice, printers, scanners or storage drives. The device functions as a pure USB switcher if video sharing is not needed, letting two PCs alternate access to the same peripherals. HDMI and USB cables must be connected to each host following the port labels for correct operation.

Connect each computer's HDMI output and a USB 3.0 cable to the corresponding host ports, then attach the monitor and up to four USB peripherals to the console ports; the step people get wrong is swapping the host and console HDMI cables, which prevents the 4K@60Hz signal from passing through.
No scheduled maintenance is required; keep the USB 3.0 ports free of dust and ensure the desktop controller cable remains securely seated so the 5 Gbps link to keyboards, mice, printers or scanners stays reliable.
The HDMI bandwidth caps the output at 4K@60Hz, so sustained use at 4K@60Hz is the ceiling; higher refresh rates such as 1080p@144Hz or 2K@120Hz are supported only at lower resolutions.
