Two-laptop USB-C KVM

This Vszerda switch lets two USB-C laptops share one monitor and three USB 2.0 peripherals. It supports video up to 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz with DSC. Thunderbolt 3 and 4 hosts are compatible alongside standard USB-C Gen 2 sources. The aluminium chassis measures 122 by 48 by 19.3 millimetres.

Dual video outputs free one port

Each laptop connects through a single USB-C cable that carries video, data and up to 100 W of power delivery. The switch outputs to either a DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 display, releasing the second video port for other uses. Four USB-A 2.0 ports and a 3.5 mm jack handle keyboard, mouse, storage and audio. An external USB-A to USB-C power cable is required to run the unit.

8K 60 Hz headroom with DSC

The HDMI 2.1 path delivers 48 Gbps bandwidth for 8K at 60 Hz using DSC, while DisplayPort 1.4 provides 32.4 Gbps for the same resolution and refresh rate. Lower resolutions such as 4K at 144 Hz and 1080p at 165 Hz are also supported with full chroma sampling. Systems lacking DSC or Thunderbolt cannot reach the highest 8K mode.

Questions about this item

Will the 100W power delivery keep both laptops charged during long sessions?

The switch passes up to 100W through its USB-C PD ports; each connected laptop must supply its own charger via the included USB-A to USB-C power cable.

Does the aluminium chassis stay cool when the switch runs continuously?

The aluminium alloy shell dissipates heat passively; no fan is fitted, so the unit remains silent during all-day operation.

Which cables and ports must my laptops provide for the KVM to function?

Each laptop needs a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and Thunderbolt 3 or 4; two 1.2 m USB-C 3.1 Gen-2 cables are included in the box.
