Connects one B-key and one M-key NGFF SSD plus an mSATA drive to a PCIe 16X slot, supports 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths, SATA 6.0Gbps data transfer, no driver or extra power needed
This Vszerda adapter lets a desktop motherboard accept one B-key SATA NGFF drive and one M-key PCIe NGFF drive at the same time through a single PCIe 16X slot. It also includes a dedicated mSATA connector and two SATA cables for the B-key device. No extra power or drivers are needed, and the card works with Windows, macOS and Linux out of the box.
Builders who want to add both a SATA and an NVME M.2 drive without occupying multiple expansion slots will find this card a compact solution. It is not suited for systems that lack a PCIe 16X connector running at version 2.0 or higher, nor for users who need to install more than two M.2 devices simultaneously.
The card supports four common NGFF lengths: 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280, so most consumer M.2 modules fit without modification. The SATA pathway tops out at 6.0 Gbps, while the PCIe pathway is compliant with a 39 Gbps PCIe 3.0 link, giving ample headroom for current NVME drives.
