130 ft Fiber DisplayPort 1.4 Cable

This 130 ft fiber optic cable carries DisplayPort 1.4 signals up to 32.4 Gbps. It supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz while remaining backward compatible with DP 1.2. The fiber construction resists electromagnetic interference without a signal booster. Gold plated connectors resist corrosion.

Verify Ports and Direction Before Installing

Check that both source and display have full size DisplayPort sockets. The cable is directional; the connector marked Source plugs into the GPU or console, the Display end plugs into the monitor or VR headset. Ensure the route can accommodate a 130 ft run and that in wall rating meets local code if installed behind drywall.

Suits Long Runs for 8K or High Refresh 4K

Ideal for home cinema, sim rigs or VR setups where the display sits far from the PC or console. Buyers needing only a short desk cable should choose a standard copper cable instead. Not suited for devices that lack a DisplayPort input or for runs exceeding the 130 ft length.

Does the 130 ft cable come with everything needed for an in-wall run or are extra parts required?

The cable has DisplayPort 1.4 connectors on both ends and a TPE jacket rated for in-wall use, so no additional adapters or boosters are needed for a straight source-to-display link.

Should I pick this 130 ft fiber model over a shorter copper cable for 8K at 60 Hz?

Will the 32.4 Gbps bandwidth actually drive my RTX 3080 at 8K 60 Hz with HDR?

Yes, the cable supports DP 1.4 32.4 Gbps, HDR 10, HDCP 2.2 and 1536 KHz audio, matching the output spec of an RTX 3080 at 8K 60 Hz.
