Connectivity Hub

The Vszerda 8K HDMI 2.1 Switch routes five HDMI sources to a single display, letting owners of a PS5, Xbox, PC, streaming box and Blu-ray player share one screen without swapping cables. It targets home-theatre enthusiasts and gamers who have exhausted the HDMI inputs on their TV or projector and need instant, remote-controlled selection. Builders who require simultaneous multi-monitor output or more than five inputs should look elsewhere.

Sustained Signal Integrity

The switch maintains 48 Gbps bandwidth across all ports, supporting 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz during extended sessions without throttling. HDCP 2.3 compliance and Dynamic HDR pass-through remain active continuously, while VRR, ALLM, QMS and QFT keep variable refresh rates stable under load. The included USB power cable ensures the internal logic stays powered for reliable handshake retention over long periods.

Five-to-One Port Count

The defining specification is the five-input, one-output topology, which dictates exactly how many devices can be connected at once. Five front-panel LEDs indicate the active port, and the IR remote operates within a 33 ft range for convenient switching. Users needing six or more sources, or a matrix that sends different sources to different displays, cannot use this unit.

Questions about this item

Does the 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 switch draw much power or get warm when left on all day?

The unit is powered by the included USB cable and weighs only 50 grams, so it runs cool and consumes very little power even during continuous use.

What cables and power source do I need to have ready before using the 5-port selector?

You need five HDMI source cables, one HDMI cable to your display, and a USB port or adapter for the supplied USB power cable.

Will the switch pass 4K@120Hz and VRR from my PS5 to an older 4K@60Hz TV without handshake problems?

Yes, it supports HDMI 2.1, 2.0 and 1.4 with VRR, ALLM and QFT, so it negotiates the best common format between the PS5 and the 4K@60Hz display.
