Adapts B-key M.2 SATA SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes to a 3.5-inch drive bay using SATA 3.0
The Vszerda AC3858 is an expansion card that converts a SATA-bus M.2 SSD into a standard 3.5-inch drive form factor. It accepts B-key or B+M-key modules in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths and connects them to a SATA 3.0 interface. The board measures 142 by 65 by 8 millimetres and includes a mounting bracket, a screwdriver and an M.2 screw.
This adapter suits anyone who wants to install a SATA-based M.2 SSD into a 3.5-inch bay or caddy. It does not work with PCIe-bus M.2 SSDs that use an M key, so builders who have that type of module must choose a different solution. The card is driver-free and transparent to the operating system.
The single specification that determines compatibility is the SSD key type: only SATA-bus M.2 drives with a B key or B+M key are supported. If the module uses an M key alone, the card will not function.

The adapter is transparent to the operating system and requires no drivers. After fitting the drive, check your BIOS or OS disk management to confirm the SSD appears at SATA 3.0 speed.
The package contains the M.2 to SATA adapter board, a 3.5-inch HDD cage, an M.2 mounting screw and a screwdriver. You will need to supply your own SATA data and power cables.
The bracket accepts M.2 SATA SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors with B-key or B+M-key connectors.
