Suits laptops and compact systems needing wireless

It suits users upgrading or replacing a wireless card in compatible laptops or small-form-factor desktops. It is not for builders who require a wired Ethernet connection or a different expansion interface. It is also not for systems that lack an available M.2 slot keyed for this type of card.

Maximum link rate of 867 Mbps on 802.11ac

The single specification that determines suitability is the 867 Mbps peak throughput on the 802.11ac standard. If your network environment or use case demands higher bandwidth, this adapter will not meet that requirement.
