  • Corrosion-resistant design protects signal quality over time
  • Accepts 24 to 26 AWG solid or stranded conductors
  • Transparent housing lets you verify wire order before crimping

Pack contents

This pack contains 10 transparent RJ45 connectors rated for Cat6 and Cat5e Ethernet cables. They are designed for installers and home users who terminate their own patch leads or repair damaged ends. The quantity suits small projects or keeping spares on hand.

Gold-plated contacts

Gold-plated pins resist corrosion and maintain low contact resistance for reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance. The transparent housing lets you verify wire order before crimping, reducing wiring errors. No tools or software are bundled with the connectors.

Cable gauge check

Confirm your cable uses 24 to 26 AWG solid or stranded conductors, as other gauges will not seat correctly. These connectors are intended for indoor UTP cable only; outdoor or shielded cable types are not supported. A suitable RJ45 crimp tool is required but not included.

Questions about this item

How often will the gold-plated contacts need re-termination on solid 24 AWG cable?

The gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain signal integrity, so re-termination is only needed if the cable is physically damaged or the connector is removed.

What fails first when crimping multiple 26 AWG stranded cables in a row?

The transparent housing lets you verify wire order before crimping, reducing mis-crimps that waste connectors during batch jobs.

Do the connectors get warm when carrying Gigabit Ethernet traffic all day?

Gold-plated contacts keep resistance low, so the plugs stay at ambient temperature during continuous Gigabit Ethernet use.
