A bi-directional USB-C KVM switch that shares one display between two sources or splits one source to two displays with 8K@30Hz video, 10Gbps data and 100W power delivery
The Vszerda CY-UC-161-0.5M is a bi-directional USB-C KVM switch that operates as a 2-in-1-out switch or a 1-in-2-out splitter. It routes video and data between USB-C devices and supports up to 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz. The unit requires external 5 V power via the supplied USB-to-DC cable.
Users who alternate between two laptops or a laptop and desktop on a single display will benefit from the 10 Gbps data path and 100 W power delivery. Buyers who need both connected monitors active simultaneously should look elsewhere because the splitter mode cannot drive two screens at once.
The switch passes up to 100 W of USB Power Delivery 3.0 through its USB-C ports, letting the host charge a connected laptop while driving video and data. If the host or cable cannot supply the required 5 V auxiliary power, the unit will not function.

The switch itself needs external 5 V power from the supplied USB-to-DC cable; it passes up to 100 W PD to the host but adds no active cooling, so heat stays low during continuous use.
Both source devices and the display need USB-C ports that support DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB 3.1 Gen 2; the box includes a .5 m lead and a USB-to-DC power cable.
The switch supports 1440p@165 Hz and 1080p@144 Hz, but only one display is active at a time, so the older 60 Hz panel simply receives no signal while the high-refresh monitor is selected.
