90° up-angled DisplayPort male-to-female adapter routes the cable upward for tight spaces, supporting 4K at 60 Hz
This 90-degree up-angled adapter connects a DisplayPort male plug to a female socket, letting you route the cable upward when the port faces a wall or sits behind a desk. It supports video signals up to 4K at 60 Hz. The compact black housing adds only a short offset, so it fits behind monitors, projectors, laptops or PCs where a straight connector would not clear the surface. Builders who need a downward or side-angled exit should choose a different orientation.
The adapter removes the need to force a stiff DisplayPort cable into a recessed or obstructed port, which can damage the socket or the cable end. It is worth adding when the existing female port is too close to a bezel, a mounting bracket or another connector to accept a straight plug. It does not extend reach, so runs that already need a longer cable will still require one; it only changes the departure angle.
The unit occupies one female DisplayPort socket and presents one female socket at a 90-degree upward angle, keeping the link passive and driver-free. It works with standard DisplayPort cables and devices such as monitors, projectors, laptops and televisions. No external power or active circuitry is involved, so it adds no latency and draws no current beyond the signal lines. Users requiring multiple outputs or signal conversion will need a separate splitter or active adapter.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The adapter projects roughly 1.69 inches upward from the port, so allow at least that much vertical space behind the monitor or PC.
Insert the male end so the female socket points upward; the 90° up-angle routes the cable away from the panel surface.
The connector is rated for normal daily use; if the spring contacts loosen over time, simply replace the adapter — it weighs only .6 ounces.
