Share two DisplayPort monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals between two computers at up to 8K 30 Hz or 4K 144 Hz with push-button or wired-remote switching
This DisplayPort KVM switch lets two computers share a pair of monitors, a keyboard, a mouse and up to four USB 3.0 peripherals. It supports extended and mirrored desktop modes and works driver-free with Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS. Switching is handled by a front-panel button or the included 1.5 m wired remote, with LEDs showing the active host. Each computer must connect two DisplayPort cables and one USB cable for full dual-screen operation.
The switch passes DisplayPort 1.4 signals up to 8K at 30 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz, with backward compatibility down to 1080p. USB 3.0 ports deliver 5 Gbps throughput, ten times the speed of USB 2.0. Switching between hosts takes two to four seconds. No higher refresh rates or newer DisplayPort versions are supported, so ultra-high-frame-rate gaming beyond 144 Hz at 4K is not possible.
The unit comfortably drives dual 4K 144 Hz displays or a single 8K 30 Hz panel while sharing four USB 3.0 devices such as keyboards, mice, printers or storage. It runs out of video inputs if a third computer is added, and the four USB ports limit simultaneous high-bandwidth peripherals. Buyers needing more than two hosts or more than four shared USB devices will need a larger switch.

The switch handles both; use 8K@30Hz for maximum pixel count on productivity screens and 4K@144Hz when high refresh rate matters for gaming.
Each DisplayPort 1.4 link can deliver 8K at 30 Hz, so both monitors can show that resolution simultaneously when each computer supplies two DP 1.4 outputs.
It uses DisplayPort 1.4, capping each video channel at the 8K@30Hz or 4K@144Hz ceiling with no higher refresh rates possible.
