Dual-Monitor HDMI KVM Switch

This KVM switch lets you operate two computers from a single keyboard, mouse and pair of HDMI monitors. It supports Windows, Mac, Chrome and Linux hosts with extended or mirrored display modes. A slide switch selects KVM or USB-only operation, while virtual interaction prevents input flicker during changes.

Thermal noise and power

The unit draws power from the connected computers and has no internal fan, so it adds no audible noise or measurable heat to the desk. Passive operation keeps power consumption negligible in normal use, and the metal casing dissipates any warmth without active cooling.

Bundled extras and software

Three USB 3.0 ports share peripherals such as printers, scanners, webcams and hard drives between both machines at up to 5 Gbps. A dedicated USB 1.1 port enables hotkey switching, and separate audio and microphone jacks route sound independently for each system.

Questions about this item

How do I connect two monitors to this KVM switch and what step do people miss?

Each computer must send two HDMI signals to the switch; if a PC only has one HDMI output you will only see one picture on the monitors.

What maintenance or replacement will the USB 1.1 hotkey port need later?

The extra USB 1.1 port is for hotkey switching only; it does not carry high-speed data so no peripheral upgrade is required for that function.

What limit appears first during sustained high-refresh gaming at 240Hz?

The switch supports 1080P at 240Hz and 2560x1440 at 144Hz; higher resolutions drop to 60Hz, so refresh rate is the first constraint.
