A dual-monitor KVM switch lets two computers share two displays and four USB 3.0 peripherals at up to 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz with front-panel and wired remote switching
This KVM switch lets two computers or laptops share two HD monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, printer or flash drive. It supports both copy mode, which mirrors the same image on both screens, and extended mode, which spans the desktop across the two displays. The unit works with Windows, macOS, Linux and Unix with no driver installation required.
The device draws power from the connected systems and adds no fan noise or measurable heat to the desk. Switching between the two computers is instant and can be done either by pressing the button on the main unit or by using the included wired remote button for convenient placement. USB 3.0 ports deliver up to 5 Gbps throughput for fast storage transfers.
Video inputs accept HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 signals, enabling resolutions up to 7680×4320 at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz, with backward compatibility down to 720p. This interface combination is the single specification that determines whether the switch matches your graphics outputs and monitor capabilities.

Connect each computer to the switch using one HDMI 2.1 cable and one DisplayPort 1.4 cable; connect the two monitors to the switch's two video outputs; plug keyboard, mouse and other peripherals into the four USB 3.0 ports; use the front panel button or wired remote to toggle between PCs.
The mechanical switch button and the wired remote button are the only moving parts; they may wear after heavy daily use, while the USB 3.0 ports and video connectors are solid-state and typically last the life of the unit.
The HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces cap video bandwidth at 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz; sustained operation at the top rates is limited by the switch's internal signal conditioning rather than by the USB 3.0 hub, which runs at 5 Gbps.
