Vszerda HDMI KVM Extender 60m

This Vszerda HDMI KVM USB extender transmits 1080p 60 Hz video, audio and USB keyboard and mouse signals up to 60 metres over a single CAT6 cable. It supports HDMI 1.4b with HDCP 1.4 compliance, HDR, 3D and multi-channel audio formats including LPCM 7.1 and Dolby Digital Plus. Power over cable requires only one adapter for the transmitter and receiver pair. A local HDMI loop-out on the transmitter allows a monitor at the source.

Cable and port checklist before ordering

Verify you have solid AWG23 CAT6 cable for the full 60 metre reach; CAT5e reaches 50 metres and CAT5 reaches 40 metres. The source must provide an HDMI output and a USB Type-B port for the transmitter. The remote end needs an HDMI display and USB keyboard and mouse. Ensure the HDMI cable run to the local loop-out monitor stays within standard HDMI length limits.

Thermals noise and power draw

The units are passively cooled with no fans, so they run silently in normal use. Power over cable delivers electricity through the Ethernet link, eliminating a second power brick at the receiver. Typical power draw is low for a 10.2 Gbps HDMI 1.4b extender. Keep both boxes in ventilated areas away from direct heat sources to maintain stable operation.
