What it is and who it's for

The Vszerda HDMI Splitter 1 in 3 Out takes a single HDMI source and mirrors it to three identical displays simultaneously. It suits users who need the same 4K or 1080p image on multiple TVs, projectors or monitors for signage, presentations or home cinema duplication. It does not support extended desktop modes or different content on each screen.

Interface limits and behaviour

The splitter distributes video according to the lowest resolution detected across all connected displays. Maximum supported timing is 4K at 30 Hz with deep colour at 8, 10 or 12 bit; 1080p, 720p and 480p formats are also passed through. HDCP 1.4 compliance is required on the source and sinks for protected content.

Capacity and headroom

Three HDMI outputs are driven from one input, handling audio formats such as DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD and DSD alongside video. The metal case provides passive cooling for continuous operation. Bandwidth caps at the 30 Hz 4K limit, so higher refresh rates or 4K at 60 Hz are not possible with this unit.

Questions about this item

Should I choose this 1x3 splitter or look for a 1x2 or 1x4 model?

Pick the 1x3 when you need one source duplicated to exactly three displays; fewer ports leave a screen unconnected, more ports add cost and cables you will not use.

What does 4K@30Hz actually deliver on my monitors?

You get 2160p resolution at 30 frames per second — fine for films and desktop work, but fast gaming or 60 Hz video will drop to 1080p or lower.

Does the HDCP 1.4b limit what 4K content I can play?

HDCP 1.4b protects 4K@30Hz streams from services like Netflix or Blu-ray; it will not pass newer 4K@60Hz protected material that requires HDCP 2.2.
