Compact HDMI to VGA adapter with audio
The Vszerda adapter converts a digital HDMI-compatible signal into an analog VGA output while extracting audio to a 3.5 mm port. It fits laptops, TV boxes and other HDMI sources, connecting them to monitors, projectors or HDTVs that only accept VGA input. A supplied 3.5 mm cable simplifies hooking up speakers or headphones.
Active conversion up to 1920x1080
An integrated IC chip handles the digital-to-analog translation and supports resolutions including 1920x1080, 1600x1200 and 720p. The gold-plated HDMI connector resists corrosion and maintains signal quality during extended sessions. Video and audio travel together through the single adapter without external power requirements.
Check source port and target display
Verify that your source device provides a standard HDMI-compatible output and that the display or projector accepts a VGA male connector. Ensure you have a VGA cable for the display side and that your audio equipment uses a 3.5 mm jack. The adapter does not support reverse direction or higher resolutions.

Questions about this item
Does the adapter draw extra power or get hot when it runs all day?
The adapter uses an active IC chip powered from the HDMI source and has no external supply, so heat and power draw stay minimal during continuous use.
What cables or ports must I already have on my display and speakers to use this adapter?
You need a VGA input on the monitor or projector and a 3.5 mm audio input on the speakers or amplifier; the adapter provides the HDMI plug and includes a 3.5 mm audio cable.
Will this work with an older 1600 x 1200 monitor I want to keep?
Yes, the adapter supports 1600x1200 as well as 1920x1080 and 720p, so the older monitor will display correctly.
